Devotions involving the Saints of the Franciscan Family

Some would ask why we venerate the saints and seek their prayers.

The answer's very simple. These are our elder brothers and sisters in Christ. These of our brothers and sisters who have gone to heaven before us is an example of holiness and part of St. Paul's 'great cloud of witnesses'(Hebrews 12:1) that surround and encourage us during our journey here on earth. We, in the communion of saints, remain united in love with those who have gone before us. It is in this bond of love that we seek the prayers of our elder brothers and sisters. We offer these devotions for your consideration and use.
